"Frankenmini" - so called because of all the other cars that died to give him life. We bought him in November 1998 as a 998cc automatic, now with Metro 1275cc engine/box, K&N cone filter, alloy inlet manifold, Maniflow LCB and RC40 exhaust. Since this piccy we’ve changed the front completely, now including chrome bumper, mark I style Grille and removeable bonnet. Hope to have him finished by summer 2000!

Mini: a 1971 Morris-Cooper S Innocenti that I stripped to the bare metal and had resprayed 18 months ago. It has had extensive work done: electric metal sunroof; deseamed w/ fender flares; de-cambered front and rear; HiLo’s with Koni shocks; 1.75 HIF; mild cam; unleaded ported and polished big-valve head; MG1100 rad; alternator; custom console w/stereo cassette/CD changer control; 6X9 speakers in the rear shelf and tweeters in the dash; 6-disk CD changer in the trunk; Recaro seats; Momo wheel; Minilite Magnesium 6X10 wheels;

Innocenti dash (w/Jaeger gauges), grille, dual-stalk steering column (locking). I’ve probably left out a bunch, but you get the idea.

Marcel Chichak aka the adMINIstrator

Co-founder (September 1994) and current adMINIstrator of the mini-list. Although my goal of world doMINIation has not yet been achieved, I have made significant progress on the Mini front. This is me with ‘Hugo’ my ‘69 Morris Cooper 1000 rally car at the ‘99 Thunderbird rally in the Rocky Mountains. I’m also working on a ‘65 Morris Cooper 1275 S and a ‘68 Morris 1000 Traveler.

Current project 1969 Mini K (1100cc - Australian Production Model) Just starting the fixing, but my recent list has included....1 clutch plate, 1 primary gear, 1 primary gear oil seal, 1 head gasket, 6 brake slave cylinders (now that was a BAD day), 1 water temp sender, 2 tyres (bang!), drivers door, 2 drilled pedals (long story!), 1 fuel tank sender unit.
I can usually be found screaming around the streets delivering pizzas on a daily basis.....and you can hear me coming from miles!! Average about 500miles a week at the moment....so she ain’t doing to bad considering!
There’s always something! :)

Max Lock

This is me Max Lock, I’m based in Thatcham, near Newbury in the UK, and my latest project swampy the van. I’ve got three Min’s currently. An 81 van, a 72 Pickup and a 95 Mini 35 LE. The van pictured is currently stripped awaiting some major metal replacement, The pickup is laid up awaiting MOT and the 35 is our daily runabout.

I think that just about covers it :)

Neville Rasmussen

I own three minis. A yellow 1984 - 1275E called Jemima Puddleduck. A pink 197?, 998 Clubman and another bell nose mini also pink sitting on a farm which I have not yet seen but it is also pink. All 3 made in Cape Town South Africa.

Jemima Puddleduck, see piccie, is mid way through a major rebuild after many hard years as a student at Cape Town University (South Africa). No1 child in picture, plus two others who also did their fair share of destruction. Now Jemima is all mine. I am the rather desperate looking character superimposed on Jemima.
